Day 17: Write about something that you hate.

Since I feel like “hate” is a really strong word and I can’t really think of anything I dislike that much (even though I say I hate a lot of things it’s just hyperbole, guys), I am just going to do a list of things that irritate me or are pet peeves.

And here they are, in no particular order:

  • Pretentious, elitist jerks (yes, this song is about you)
  • People who see what is “cool” in popular culture and study it to have talking points rather than actually have any interest in it
  • TYPOS
  • Onions.  On or part of anything.
  • People eating popcorn loudly in movie theaters
  • Poor grammar
  • Men who take up more than one seat on the subway because they have their legs wide open
  • Not signaling when making a turn in a car
  • People who don’t stay to the right side of the sidewalk, hallway, etc.
  • People that stop abruptly while walking
  • SPITTING IN PUBLIC
  • Sloths

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

I talked into an iPad and the magical app Songify transformed my unremarkable speech into a song to which all mankind can now dance.

I made this all for you on MLK, Jr. Day!

‎”Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” -Martin Luther King Jr.
