I was having a pretty grumpy day today.  Do you have grumpy days?  Where everything makes you a Grumpasaurus Rex.  The people you deal with turn you into a Grumpelstiltskin.  And even just sitting still you embody a Darth Grump.

I was having one of those days.  Then, while I waiting for the N/Q at 59th street a performer was performing, “You Can Call Me Al.”  Something about his performance was so endearing and hit home to me.

A man walks down the street,
He says, Why am I soft in the middle now?
Why am I soft in the middle?
The rest of my life is so hard!
I need a photo-opportunity,
I want a shot at redemption!
Don’t want to end up a cartoon,
In a cartoon graveyard …..
