Lots of exclamation points!!!
Backstory: I only tried coffee for the first time a month ago at my cousin’s baby’s Christening party - I figured it was about time. When I was younger my dad had me try a coffee bean. I hated it and said I would never, ever drink coffee. Now that I’ve tried it once, I realized I can totally drink it in social situations if enough sugar and creamer is involved.
Mistake #1: I went to brunch today and ordered a delicious Chai Latte. No real problem here except that this should have been my caffeine limit of the day. I normally don’t intake many beverages other than water or iced tea.
Mistake #2: Went to Bed, Bath & Beyond to pick up a few items. While there, a woman was demonstrating a k-cup machine. I decided I wanted to try the hazelnut coffee so she brewed me a free cup. I felt pretty class walking around the BB&B with my cup of coffee.
Result: I drank it quickly because I didn’t want to carry it for very long and felt totally CRAZY. My heart was beating super fast, I was getting hot flashes and was just talking quickly and getting excited about everything. I began to prance in certain aisles. Just a casual BB&B experience obviously. I was super attentive on the subway ride back to Astoria and wanted to die upon my return.
NEVER AGAIN.
